I have always seen myself as a person who wants to experience all there is in life. I feel like I have a great deal to share as I have grown older and have had many life experiences. This is why I created this blog. I won’t tell my age because it is just a number, but I’ve been around long enough to have four children and ten grandchildren. All are teens or older, so I feel like an empty nester for the second time as they grow and begin lives of their own. I feel the need to restart filling my dreams and to continue to experience life with my adventures.
I love to travel and some of this blog is about those adventures. Many are about family and life. All blogs are about sharing.
I did not go to culinary school like many food bloggers have. However, I am passionate about family and food. Physically I am fifty percent Italian but one hundred percent mentally. I was born in Chicago but grew up in a small town in Kentucky. My cooking style is a blend of both.
My first cookbook has now been published and I am eager to share it with you. It is called “Cooking with Love,” Easy Recipes From The Heart. It is a composite of my life, sharing memories of cooking with the kids and grandkids. At first, I was cooking for them, now I am cooking with them. We have created experiences that will last a lifetime. The book is designed for the home cook with kitchen tips and sample menus to help you get started. They are easy and use regular everyday ingredients.
My blog will now, as it always has featured my recipes with an occasional story about travel and life experiences. You can purchase the book on Amazon.com. Or through my email cookingwithlove01@gmail.com.
My hope is that it helps you find joy in cooking and create your own family memories.
